[ILUG] Ildána broadband, anyone?

Have any of you used Ildána broadband? They're rolling out wireless
broadband in rural areas, and a friend living between Kilcock and
Summerhill is awaiting an install. A quick forward and reverse DNS
lookup on their website leads to the conclusion that they use satellite
for the backhaul, so latency is going to be wonderful. Mind you, my
friend lives in the shadow, nearly, of the Atlantic 252 mast, leading
to phoneline interference so that he gets 14.4K dialup, so I expect a
little latency will be seen as a reasonable tradeoff for a large speed
increase.
Their website is astonishingly uninformative. I downloaded their
application form, and I see they have four products, but there is NO
mention of these products on their website, and the registration form
says nothing about what the various products entail.
In any event, it's not a service for the iTunes user - §4.10 of the T &
C states
Subscribers may not use the service to download from the internet any
music or film
and in case that's not clear enough, §4.11 of the T & C states
Subscribers may not use the service to download from the internet any
music or film files of any kind.
So, any users out there, with any opinions?
Niall
