Eh, play it and cat /dev/dsp? Or use esdrec?
"Sun audio" is barely a file format.. it's just raw mu-law with a wee =
header tacked on, sometimes. You can send an au straight to =
/dev/audio (or /dev/dsp on that new Linux play-OS - it'll never catch =
on) and cat u-law from /dev/audio.
(Oh the hours one could while away trying to play the "guess what =
bitrate and endiannes that .au is, and whether it's signed or not too =
for good measure" game).
