I find Flashblock to be essential, with or without a Flash interpreter
installed: http://flashblock.mozdev.org/
The reason it's essential even _without_ a Flash interpreter installed,
is that sites that think your browser lacks one will often send you
advertising in alternate form. Runing with Flashblock means your
browser automatically claims to support Flash, even if it doesn't --
such that you (effectively) get no ads at all.
