4.10 Warty EOL 20th April
For Ubuntu Version 5.04
rsync: (fast remote file copy program (like rcp)), section net, is 
optional. Version: 2.6.3-2ubuntu1 (hoary), Packaged size: 162 kB, 
Installed size: 376 kB
EOL about 6 months away

For Ubuntu Version 5.10
rsync: (fast remote file copy program (like rcp)), section net, is 
standard. Version: 2.6.5-1ubuntu2 (breezy), Packaged size: 202 kB, 
Installed size: 428 kB
EOL about 1 year away

Should be called 6.06 on release:
rsync: (fast remote file copy program (like rcp)), section net, is 
standard. Version: 2.6.6-1ubuntu1 (dapper), Packaged size: 214 kB, 
Installed size: 440 kB

There is no rsyncd there is however this:
*rsync --daemon*
