[ILUG] Network issue

resolv.conf simply shows the NTL proxy servers

This didnt help.  I removed httpd from the start up services as it 
Apache not needed but if anything Fedora is running slower still!  I am 
running Windows 2k Professional so am I correct in saying that the DNS 
server options are only available in the Server edition?  This would 
seem to be the case per any inforamtion I can find on Google. 

AM I also correct in saying that I could set the Fedora box up to be a 
DNS server in other word can ANY host on the netwrok serve as the DNS 
server as long as the two toher pcs are config'ed accordingly?

DNS Server is definitely not setup on either of the Fedora pcs so this 
would not be an explaination for the network working prior to 
reinstalling Windows.

Really curious though to understand how it worked before as I had it up 
n running in a matter of minutes.....

Its no big deal as it would be better to have the network set up 
correctly in any case
