Cutting to the chase of my January 2006 remarks on the similar (but
wordier) Ubuntu example: This would put give a dandy cudgel to any
passive-aggressive member who decides to proclaim that he/she has been
made to feel "unconfortable or threatened" by someone he/she has a
grudge against.
Also: The code attempts to legislate "respect" by everyone to everyone
else. That is simply not a reasonable goal. _Civility_ is.
Does ILUG wish to sanction members who are unfailingly polite but
consider some particular person's set of views to be without merit?
Why?
