Generally I would agree, its just in this case, it may have turned out
more cost effective for the client to use the resource instead of
sending a person up. Turns out not to be the case.

MMMmmm should I interpert above to indicate that in Cork their is a
decent datacentre? With good bandwidth prices etc :) ?

Well there was no contractor involved in the process to my knowledge,
however I can agree with you that prices can be set based on the level
of expertise required, but reall almost a grand for a simple OS
install? To me it sounds either greedy or exthoritive.
