Sorry Walter, my fault. I meant /etc/mail/submit.mc.

Do a comparison of /etc/mail/submit.mc on both your mankind and your
splendor hosts. This should show you how their configurations differ.

Also, you may have to do a bit of messing with the server configuration
on sever02.example.com to get everything working smoothly. I won't go
into any detail on this though unless you do actually run into
difficulties.
