Call for Proposals:
The program committee for the 20th Large Installation System
Administration Conference (LISA '06) is seeking proposals for workshops.
Full-day workshops are presented at every LISA conference. The workshops
are intended to be hands-on, participatory, interactive sessions where
small groups of senior-level system administrators can have discussions
focused on a particular topic. Past workshops have included:
Configuration Management, Managing Sysadmins, Clusters, University
Issues, and System Administration Education.
Because of their small size, workshops are an excellent opportunity to
bring system administrators together for highly interactive
discussions about modern topics. The LISA program committee is
looking for workshop proposals to take advantage of this great
opportunity. If you have a topic that you think would be suitable for
a workshop, please submit a proposal to lisa06workshops at usenix.org.
The proposal should include the following information:
Title
Objective
Organizer name(s) and contact information
Potential attendee profile
An outline of potential topics
The submissions deadline is September 25, 2006.
For more information, please see http://www.usenix.org/lisa06/cfpw.
We look forward to your submissions.
On behalf of the LISA '06 Program Committee,
William LeFebvre
