I must be missing something, because surely you have heard of
mod_perl, right? In which a new Perl process is not spawned for each
new connexion?
Perl, like any language that gives you more than enough rope with
which to hang yourself, can be used for good or evil.
I personally think it is about as likely to die out in my lifetime as
is C, i.e. Not Bloody.
