[ILUG] NFS advice

We have made some changes to the NFS setup. But it still takes goes on 
slowdowns every now and then... sometimes fine and then goes to sleep. 
Looking at the setup on the desktop I notice IPV6 is enabled - is this likely 
to be messing up my routing? We don't use IPV6.
