Google are not acting passively here, but are actively preventing access
to the knowledge, it really is a lesser form of the beating, not an
avoidance.

Google; Hacking China from the inside, backdooring for freedom!

I have no doubt that none of the techs in Google are exactly going out
of their way to make the filtering perfect, and to an extent that's
commendable.
