Hi,

Did you check the availability of gxine plug-in?

From gxine "INSTALL" doc:

"

Browser plugin location
=======================

The browser plugin is installed (by "make install") as
	$(libprefix)/gxine/gxineplugin.so
(where $(libprefix) is normally /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib).

You will need to link to it from or copy it somewhere where your browser
will see it. This is probably in at least two of the following locations (at
least one per-user and one system-wide):

	/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
	/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/plugins
	/usr/lib/firefox/plugins

	~/.mozilla/plugins
	~/.mozilla/firefox/plugins

"

If you have mplayer too, you maybe interested in this:

I am not using Linux right now. So, I cant more help you at this moment.

Best regards,

Tomek
