In Templeogue here, on Saturday afternoon, on esat.
500k download, 110k upload. Also good is their spam rejection. If
things went down, I would check my own box before ringing them and
asking what's broke this time (Like I did with NTL). Ntl are
nearly criminally bad, imho. And everybody has an accounts row
with them.
I liked the Esat modem also, which does dhcp and saves you farting
with pppoe. It serves 33 boxes, so I bought a 8 way switch, and
three of us use a box here at times.
Phonewise, Esat beats Eircom hands down. Smart's offers are good.
