My opinion based on a 3 month or so experience with NTL

NTL as cable TV or digital - Rubbish
NTL as a reliable ISP - great

I'm in the Sandyford area, it's been a fantastic service since I got it 
and I push quite a few files between my home machine and work. Would 
recommend it heartily to anyone.
