[ILUG] Hard Drive crash?

Hi,
I would try to use dedicated diagnostic/repair tools from the hard disk manufacturer.
If it is Seagate:
http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/drivers/discwiz.html
http://www.seagate.com/support/seatools/
http://www.seagate.com/support/kb/disc/faq/ata_llfmt_what.html (try to do this if you dont have important data on the HDD)
