A number of people at our recent LISA conference expressed interest in a
forum for discussion of Kerberos and AFS deployment and related issues.
To kickstart this, I have created a mailing list hosted by UKUUG; to
join, send an empty message to:
krb5-sig-subscribe at lists.ukuug.org
or fill in the form on the list web page:
I don't plan to restrict this list to UKUUG members, so please pass
on this invitation to colleagues or anyone else you think might be
interested in these issues.
It's not immediately clear how this list will differ from those run by
the US Kerberos and AFS communities, but I think it's worth giving it a
try to see how things shape up this side of the Atlantic. If there's
enough interest, I will organise a one-day workshop in the UK where we
can meet face to face to share ideas (along the lines of the Kerberos
and AFS Best Practices Workshop[*], but on a smaller scale).
