Hi Ollie
I did a Novell Training course for SuSe as I needed to certify for
work, with Synopsis Consulting in Blanchardstown. There is enough in
the course and the notes to get you thrugh the certification process and
to give you a reasonably good grounding. If you know Linux or any Unix
already I would skip the Intro course and possibly the first Admin
course. The second admin course repeats a lot of the first and it would
be enough to get you certified.

Im just finishing a four year BSC in IT & Business. Iv estarted looking
for a job & want to get into UNix/Linux admin. I have applied for a good
few jobs but with no luck. Pretty much all i know about linux is self
taught & that just doesnt seem to wash well with emplyers or recruitment
agencies.
So now im thing about getting some official training. Has anyone done
something like this? Are any courses/certificates better than others? My
budget is limited but im willing to invest. I had a look at the sites
listed on the site but id like a few personal opinions.
Cheers, Ollie.
