I can understand this. Sony chips are very good, but totally
unavailable, unless some catalogue supplier stocks them. I got such a
situation, (They put one in the old Sega Megadrive) and the catalogue
supplier (RS)could not even get a datasheet from Sony. Datasheets are
the basic design (and therefore sales) tool for a chip. It seems Sony
want to own your company before they talk to you.
