[ILUG] New subscriber

Hi everyone,

About 24 hours ago somebody told me to join this list if I wanted to join
the ILUG,
because ILUG members are by definition this list's subscribers. So I have
done it.

Several years ago somebody told me about netiquette and new subscribers
being expected to introduce themselves when joining a mailing list. Although
RFC 1855 seems to say nothing about it, I don't think it's a bad idea.

I am a Spanish Linux geek and I have just moved to Ireland. In Spain I am
(still?)
a member of the Canary Islands LUG (GULiC) and although I have no much free
time I was missing joining the Irish LUG. I enjoyed a lot your AGM
yesterday,
though I am not good at English and I didn't understand most of you said. I
hope
by the next AGM I'll be good enough not to miss the best part: in the pub :)
