That sounds a lot like what I figured I was voting for; there were a
handful of other suggestions but I think ultimately members want a
human to eyeball messages which don't come from a member (where member
is defined as list subscriber) and forward on only those messages
which come from members (presumably meaning those subscribed as one
address but posting from another), regardless of content. Exactly how
this was to be determined and implemented was left as an exercise for
the committee. One or more people volunteered/were coerced and
presumably in the absence of moderators such messages would be
rejected.
Those of you posting from non-subscribed addresses ought to make the
moderator(s) life easier by subscribing (and disabling delivery) for
secondary addresses.
