I think the fact that you don't use isn't sufficient cause to get rid of them.

If they annoy you, then you should configure your mail system to
remove such tags. If the tags were removed, then I'd have to set up
something to reinsert them at my end, before they hit my MUA, because
I generally scan through mails from different lists, because while I
like them all together, I like to be able to distinguish them.
