[ILUG] Lots of errors in the New Users Guide

THIS WILL PROBABLY CAUSE A FLAME STORM, but here goes anyway

The new users guide needs a thorough review (preferably re-write).  This 
page 
http://www.linux.ie/newusers/beginners-linux-guide/directory-structure.php  
contains many
errors, or mis-conceptions.

Also I noticed that the pages are all .php scripts, can we switch to a 
wiki for the ILUG ILUG
