[ILUG] Wireless controller? (PCI or USB)

Hello,

I have Debian Sarge, with a backports.org kernel (2.6.16, I think) running
on a desktop box. I would like to put in a wireless network controller to
communicate with that wireless router that should (supposedly) arrive from
Eircom soon.

It can be PCi or USB - I don't really care either way. But it has to work
with Linux, with as little hassle as possible. Also, ideally I'd like to
be able to buy it off the shelf (Maplin, PC World, etc).

Question: what brand/model should I go for?
