[ILUG] Memory slot

I have three memory slots and one failed about two weeks ago so i switced memory to the third slot and everythings fine. Also got an old computer - PC 133 where a slot wasnt working so it cant be to unusual.
Dont want ot ask stupid questions and never looked at the post your following up on but did you make sure its not the memory itself?
As far as i recall pcworld still sell PC133 which was reasonably cheap. Itd be faster than ordering online.
Sorry about changing the subject field but php had a seizure over it and wouldnt send.
