I have Ubuntu 6.06 running perfectly on 3 Toshiba laptops: Tecra 8100, 5+ years old with SparkLAN -WL611R (based on Ralink 2500 chipset) Tecra M1 (2 laptops), relatively recent model - internal Intel Wireless LAN 2100 I do not have any issues to report. Even the old one is still very reliable. It had RH from 6.2 to 8.0 and SuSE 7.3 and 9.0. Breno
