[ILUG] Broadband providers

Hello all,

I'm (probably) in the market for a new broadband provider and so I'm
looking for recommendations. I realise that this one of those
questions that are frequently asked, but would appreciate some input.
(Is there an online iLug FAQ somewhere?)

Sadly after more than a year of almost uninterrupted access my NTL has
completely fallen over and is down more than it's up over the last 2
weeks. And they seem completely unable to even manage to get someone
to look at it, never mind actually fix it.

So basically I'm looking at anything other than NTL. I'm looking for
something in the 2Mb or 3Mb range. I don't need anything quicker, but
need at very least 1Mb.

I'm currently in Bray but will probably be moving house soon. I'm not
really sure where yet though, although within the same distance to the
city or closer. But something with decent coverage in most areas would
be a plus.
