I'll give it a quick run later tonight or tomorrow when I'm at home
(where the MacBook is).

Yep. Well I've used bash, grep sed and zip all separately in the
Terminal on Max OS X. And I have written a couple simple bash scripts.
It's thus reasonable to assume that they'll all play together fine.
