[ILUG] Open Streetmap : Proposed dates for the ILUG calendar...

	   Hi,

	I have a generous offer from Steve Coast, the originator of the Open 
Streetmap project, ( http://www.openstreetmap.org ) to come over to Ireland at 
some point in November / December 2007 to give a talk on the Open Streetmap 
project and what Open Source has done for mapping.

	I'd like to set a date with him as soon as possible, so that flights can be 
booked, etc. My suggested date at the moment is Thursday 15th November 2007, 
at a location somewhere in Dublin. There is some flexibility and some 
discussion as to whether it might be better to have this at the weekend or 
during the week. Thoughts?

	Secondly, cjb/m1/Christian and I are trying to organise a meeting in Dublin 
to get people up to speed on how to generate and submit data to the 
OpenStreetmap project. We're hoping to run an informal session for people with 
GPSs (or even those without, but planning to get one, maybe?) on Saturday 
September 1st, 2007.

	Please get back to me to register interest in one / both of these events, so 
I can guage a level of interest. Also, any further suggestions, thoughts, 
comments, ideas, etc., are always appreciated.
