[ILUG] Is Camara a charity or not?

Hi folks,

Ah, but if you look at the list of bodies with charitable tax exemption 
http://www.revenue.ie/pdf/charit_n.pdf on page 389, you'll see Camara
listed.

Basically you need to be on the tax man's books for 2 years before you
can get tax relief under section 848A, Taxes Consolidation Act 1997,
which is what the link Paschal provided. Camara's just not that old
yet.

Camara Education Limited was registered as a company first just to get
things going.
