This is not really the point; no-one that I know has time to look at
the source just for kicks--except the Linux kernel, where we *make*
time. ;)
The point is that if you have the source, you have the ability to fix
bugs yourself. If you do not, you almost certainly cannot.
Sure, quite often you do not have the time to dive into someone's
poorly commented, poorly written code (worst case here, a lot of Open
Source code is well-written; some is, er, not) to fix a bug, but the
point is that you *have* the option.
And that is what it is all about for me.
