Hi folks,

I'd like to second Patrick's implied suggestion that you contact NSAI
if you feel (as I do) that this proposed standard has deep flaws that
would make it harmful to pass it. I have already written on behalf of IFSO.

My understanding is that these submissions are being fed into a
committee which is tasked with evaluating the _technical_ merits of
the proposal; your arguments would then be best made by pointing out
some of the reasons why, as Patrick puts it, it is "only implementable
by its sponsor".

In this kind of communication they really are looking for distinct,
informed arguments (from each side); having the same thing repeated
several times will not help much, I think (it's not *so* important how
many people point out the same flaw, once it's pointed out). But if
you can take the time to write a short letter giving your own analysis
that would be great.

Thanks,
