Obviously.
But cost is very seldom "no issue" for private individuals.

I would not try the freezing trick unless you already consider the
drive dead to you. The freezer trick can sometimes allow you to
recover data, sometimes not. Depends on how the drive crashed.
It certainly should not be used except as a last resort.
This is why backups (and testing of those backups!) are so important.
