[ILUG] Interest in getting a EEEPC?

Battery life sucks @ 3.5 hours. That makes it worse than useless.
Linux or not, its just not good enough. Should be ten hours with a
teeney screen like that. I suspect LINUX power management.

I know I only used linux on an ibook g4, but man, it was rubbish power
wise. Over an hours less run time for the same charge.
Does anyone have decent PM on a linux laptop -- running on battery I mean...

What's with the teency disk anyway? 8GB? That's just rubbish.
