If that was the case you wouldn't obfuscate the source IP.

If you revealed the user's source IP in the headers we could block  
THEM not Google

No I haven't, but it's a wonderful excuse to use, isn't it?

Anytime Google do anything that flies in the face of the accepted  
norms the "scale" argument is trucked out

What makes me laugh is that you still cling to the "do no evil" meme

How you handle signups isn't the issue. It's how you handle the actual  
mail that bothers me
