Read the disclaimer

"The information in this email is confidential and may be legally privileged." - Note the word "may".... 
"It is intended solely for the addressee. Access to this email by anyone else is unauthorized." - ILUG & the world (I presume Brian knows the messages are archived on linux.ie) is the intended adressee, so no problem there.
