I'm not using either of them at all yet. And your question hints at
the reason why I started thinking about DD-WRT - the fact that I COULD
be using a "build without the X-Wrt web interface". OpenWRT sounds
like a wonderful project, to allow me to do exactly what I want with
the hardware. But in fact, all I really want is an AP with slightly
more configurability and it seems that DD-WRT will give me that out
of the box, without my having to decide whether or not I want (or
need) the X-Wrt web interface.
