I'm only somewhat familiar with Mandriva myself.  I'm not sure what the
graphical tool you need is, but the command line tool is urpmi¹.  You
probably need to something like this as root:

	urpmi gimp 

which, I think, should download and install the whole thing.  That would be
from the main repository though, not cooker.

urpmq will allow you to search and find out what's available.  This is an
old mandrake box:

[gavinmc at xxxxxxx gavinmc]$ urpmq gim 
The following packages contain gim: 
gimp
gimp-doc
gimp-perl
gimpprint
libgimp1.2
libgimp1.2_1
libgimp1.2_1-devel
libgimpprint1
libgimpprint1-devel
