Should be dead easy to update from 5.0 to 5.1. No need to back  
anything up as it is the same codebase.

Now I have never used CentOS 5, but certainly have used RHEL5,  
normally all you need to do is yum update
Check under /etc/redhat-release and it'll say 5.1.

Easy peasy. Unlike upgrading 4.x to 5.x
