[ILUG] Squid reverse proxy

Hi all,

As I only have one static IP address I have been using Squid to redirect
requests to certain domains to seperate servers. For example my main
site is running on LAMP and another is running on IIS.

It's been running in this configuration happily for quite some time
however there is one thing that still bugging me. I'm not sure if what
I'm about to ask can be done but hopefully someone might be able to help me.

When the reverse proxy connects to the back end server, requests are
logged with the IP address of the proxy. Which is to be expected I
suppose, however I was wondering if there is any way to configure Squid
to pass the IP address of the client through the proxy so that the
clients IP is logged instead of the proxy's. I know this can be
configured in ISA server but needless to say I'm trying my best to avoid
using MS products.

I've been poking through the Squid-cache site but am none the wiser.

There is an example of my squid.conf here:

Regards
Robert
