First thought: "Heh, poor email providers"
Second thought: "Crap, I'm an email provider!"

While I have been shielding myself from the implications of this
directive with lines like "How are they going to index all that crap?
Sure, it'll be impossible to look something up if /they/ want it". I
never considered my own legal responsibilities... So, does every
company, group, society, party, club, clique, cadre, faction and geek
with an instance of postfix running need to pay attention to this? Or is
it just for publicly available ISPs?
