actually I think I have it - not that I can fix it ...

Openldap 2.4.9

Ubuntu hardy

this looks like a problem with eGroupware

my log says:

Oct  4 13:56:15 collab slapd[1302]: conn=1 op=4 do_delete: root dse!

in the openLDAP source I see:

I just posted this to the eGroupware list. Having a feeling that 
eGroupware is doing something not quite kosher here ...
