I have both a Vodafone and a Three 3g modem on my eeepc.
The Vodafone one works perfectly all the time.
On the other hand, the Three one works... under the right conditions. Like,
the night of a full moon while standing on one leg and singing opera.
At first, it worked if I made sure to click "Properties" before starting
the connection. After a few weeks, that 'method' stopped working altogether.
Then, I was able to get it working for a while by creating a new connection
the wizard every single time I wanted to make a connection. After about 2
stopped working about half the time.
Yes, I'm sure theres a technical reason for these things but quite frankly I
can't be bothered. I just
use the Vodafone one now, and good riddance tbh.
Have fun :P
