I hope you don't mind me posting this here, but I hope the free 5 quid
voucher for the first 20 respondents from the the ilug list sweetens the
deal!

Hi Folks

I'm trying hard to finish my Masters degree at TCD, and I really need to
have some more survey responses for my research.  I'm therefore willing to
give a 5 amazon.co.uk pound voucher to the first 20 people who complete the
survey AND fulfill the criteria below.

Qualifying Criteria
You work in Ireland
You work in IT
You work in a shared service centre*

Verfication of results
This voucher incentive may tempt some persons to answer the survey, even if
they do not fulfill the criteria.  Also, some may wish to answer the survey
more than once.  At the end of the survey you'll be able to enter your email
address, which is the address I'll use to send you the voucher.  If you use
your work address, and your work is a known Irish-based IT company with a
shared services centre, I'll just send on the voucher straight away.   If
you don't want to use your work address, I'll email you on whatever address
you've provided to try and check if your responses are bona fide.  I know,
the system's not perfect, but it's all I have.

*Shared Service Centre
A shared services centre is a company unit set up to provide services to
more than one company unit.  Typical examples are desktop support,
datacentre services or a development group.
