Hey,
I've tried quite a number of open source case management tools. They
generally
come under the heading of 'Issue Tracking' rather than 'Case Management' but
do
the same thing. Sorta. There's a lot out there, probably the closest you're
looking
for is RT3.
Having said that, I eventually went with a paid (but source available)
solution because
RT3 was just so damn unfriendly. And AFAIK, RT3 doesn't do knowledgebase
integration out
of the box.
So what I went with was Kayako eSupport, which is relatively cheap and
pretty awesome
compared to the free open source stuff. The version you're probably looking
for
is SupportSuite which integrates the knowledgebase and stuff:
