im doing this, along with file & printer serving with ClarkeConnect: 
Community Edition 4.1.
only diffrence is ive set up IMAP on the server so i keep evereything 
centralised rather than pushing out to the various boxes which may or 
may not be there, depending who's home
i send mail through the server which then sends via the ISP's mail server.

now that its working fine, i want to access that from elsewhere.. but 
thats another day!
