If you're a beginner, you're probably better off using Synaptic, under
System->Administration.  The commands are great, but you'll get more
mileage initially from synaptic.

I'd suggest searching for a package called linux-ubuntu-modules.  There
will be several search matches, you want (I think) the -2.6.27-XX-generic
one.  If it's already installed, the problem may lie elsewhere.
