[ILUG] [OT] Using HD LCD TV as Monitor

has any had trouble with over scan ?, when using a hdtv as a Monitor.
I have a DVi to hdmi , from my pc to my tv and i have a lot of hassle
with over scan .
Part of the top and bottom of the screen cant be seen .
