[ILUG] Offline Folder in Linux and sync'able

I been reading this question and really enjoyed playing with Dropbox -
thanks for pointing it out - a great solution for syncing data between
machines and places

If anyone is looking for a very simple solution I've been using a
Nautilus script (basically a bash script that Nautilus supplies a
parameter to and keeps in a dedicated folder for access via a
right-click on a folder).

I use it all the time so that I can keep my school work folder on a
USB and not worry about working at home and at work and where the
latest file is. Some errors have occurred but only caused by a full
drive or me forgetting to sync before re-editing the wrong edition of
the file. But mostly it has been a great solution for me. The built-in
backup facility saves any disaster copies from the remote folder to
the local. I even worked out how to delete a file on the USB and have
it deleted when I go home. Renaming files doesn't really work, but you
can't have everything.

I would enjoy feedback on the script and help with it. Wouldn't it be
wonderful to have the function really embedded in Nautilus and
automatically activated on mounting of the USB.
