No encryption at all the last time I looked.

An EDGE / 3G connection drops easily and then the Bluetooth may drop.

An HSDPA USB modem and even swapping existing SIM better? Does the E51 
do any better than 384k? I thought it EDGE and 3G only not HSDPA.
